| Dialects Poster

It is a group project that involved three different nationalities, so we wanted to reflect this in our project. We chose one word that communicate the feeling of “surprise” and we looked up how it is said in different dialects in Arabic language. We included dialects like Syrian, Iraqi, Emirati, Egyptian, Saudi , Lebanese. The main concept of the poster is that all of these different words come from the standard Arabic “فصحى” and then they diverge into these dialects.
We designed the Arabic letters and constructed them in three layers. With the screen printing technique, the first layer was printed, then the other comes to complete the structure of the word along with the dotes.
